Local TV personality came out (bright and early) to profile client Portland Piano Company to celebrate their grand opening! Here he is getting a private lesson from local music teacher Barbara Roberts. I'm sure playing with your foot is not the traditional method but hey, whatever works Drew ;)

Desire to remain committed to music in Portland prompts Sherman Clay employees to form new company
PORTLAND, Ore. — June 4, 2013 — Mitch Paola, General Manager of Sherman Clay Pianos for 25 years, has opened the Portland Piano Company in the historic Tiffany Center in downtown Portland. When Sherman Clay closed its Portland store earlier this year, Paola and the Sherman Clay staff decided to utilize their shared experience, passion for music and dedication to the community, and open their own store.
“It was the next logical step for us; we just weren’t ready to be done,” says Paola, whose love of music led him to join the family business, Moe's Pianos (which later partnered with Sherman Clay), 30 years ago. “Moe's Pianos is named after Maurice (Moe) Schuster, my grandfather, a violinist with the symphony who loved to rebuild pianos. Supporting the local music community, and providing expertise and quality instruments, is my passion. I can’t imagine doing anything else.”
Portland Piano Company continues the ongoing commitment to provide the highest quality sales and service by offering new and used pianos for every budget and special event pianos through Moe's Pianos Concert & Event Rentals. They carry Fazioli, Grotrian, Baldwin, and Heintzman Pianos. For more information, visit www.portlandpianocompany.com.

MKP signs new client Dovetail Coffee Roasters and discovers she's been drinking bad coffee for years- June, 2013

| It's a tough job, but we're up for the challenge! |
This local coffee bean roaster is full of spirit, passion and personality, and we're very excited to be handling their Public and Media Relations strategy as well as social media campaigns.
Here's a photo I took while sampling the latest blends and learning about all the different ways you can brew coffee. I enjoyed a latte, espresso, and cold brew coffee. Yes, I was wired for the rest of the day but wow- I had no idea how awful the coffee I've been used to drinking has really been.
I am sure I will turn into a coffee snob shortly but once you taste the real deal, it's hard to go back. Stay tuned to see their new website and other exciting happenings for this local coffee bean roaster and wholesaler! -MP.
